Here is a little message that I have, that put so much joy in my heart, that I just had to share with everyone.

     One day I heard someone mention to me that they heard someone saying that they thought that their pastor was sometimes a little to humorous behind the pulpit. They thought he should be a little bit more serious when he is preaching.

     Now, I really didn't know this pastor, so I really couldn't comment on him. But like most humans, we like to agree with people whenever we can. So I started to say that preaching, most of the time, would seem to be a very serious business. But before I could speak a thought occurred to me and so much joy came into me that I could hardly contain myself!

     Now, we all seem to know about God's capacity for love. We've probably heard many sermons about God's abundance of His love. We also know God has love because he has given us the ability to love and our capacity to love is very big, therefore we know God must have love and his capacity for love must be even greater than ours!

     Now, God also gave us a sense of humor! Think about this! Now, I sitting here trying to write this and when I think about this, I am so filled with joy that I can hardly sit here and write.

     God gave us a sense of humor, therefore, God must have a sense of humor, think about that, people! If God has a sense of humor, then His abundance for a sense of humor must be really great! I can't even think of a word that would come close to describing how great or how big God's sense of humor must be! Think about this! If that doesn't fill you with joy, I really don't know what will.

     I just can't wait to be with God when He tells me His first joke! Think about that! I just know I'll grab my belly and fall to be ground and roll around for hours in laughter! And then I'll have the treat of going out and telling all my friends the first joke that God told me! I'm sure going to have a lot of friends to tell because once you get up there, everyone is going to be your friend. Think of the joy that is just waiting for us up there!

     And I Thank God that we can even laugh in church! Isn't that just grand! We can even laugh in church!

     A sense of humor is a really great gift from God. It not only puts joy and laughter in your heart but, allows you to put joy and laughter in the hearts of many!

     So, now, I have a thought I can always think about whenever I'm stressed or depressed that can always bring me a little joy! I hope it will help you as much!
